Centralized Management Console - Unlicensed Feature

Hi Geeks,

We have two new hp storevirtual 4330 nodes and I have successfully installed them but while trying to configure volumes from management group via cmc it says "You are about to use an unlicensed feature..." which would be for 60days..

Im new to this so just confused how I would find the license and install them??

I have the EON and everything here ..

Find attached the snapshots of the error received and hopefully someone would give assistance here..

Hi,

Navigate to

Management Group - Cluster - Storage Systems - first4330node

In that detail pane at the right select the second tab Feature registration

The link to register is displayed together with the feature key and the EON you have already...

You must do this for all storage systems in the list of your storage systems under your cluster...

Thanks, I have followed the link and I think Im now stuck with the MAC address. Funny but where do I actually find the MAC address of each node....as I have searched for tags on the physical node itself with no luck.

The MAC address is needed for registration.

Hi,

Watch the attached picture.

Everything is done in the CMC management console.

Click on the Storage System (in the picture VSA2)

Click on the tab Feature Registration at the top of the screen

Underneath you see the Feature Key (which is actually the MAC address of 1 of the interfaces) that you need to finish the registration on the website https://www.myhplicensing.hp.com
