I have very same problem, simply there are no storage sensors.
I solved it by installing new ESXi5 - now I see some numbers of storage subsystem sensors from P410 raid.

Jan

Hi,

Currently I have 3 ESX 4.1u2 hosts, with ESX installed on the local disks. The hosts are HP DL380G7 with SA P410 raid controllers.

The problem that I’m facing is that I can get the storage sensor to appear in vSphere. Neither in vCenter or directly on the ESX host.

Because the ESX hosts were installed with a VMware ISO – I installed the following extra HP drivers via vihostupdate.pl :

RECOMMENDED * HP ESXi Offline Bundle for VMware ESXi 4.1 U2 (version 1.4)

RECOMMENDED * HP NMI Sourcing Driver for VMware ESX/ESXi 4.1 (version 1.3)

I also updated the SA P410 firmware from 3.00 to 5.76,

These actions resulted in the number of sensors increasing from 479 to 486, but no storage sensors.

Does anyone have an idea how I can get the storage sensor to work?
