bl460c G6 and ESXi media: USB key or SD Card? Preferences?

I am wondering if there are advantages to buying HP's USB key vs. their supported SD Card.

Anyone found 580387-B21 to be a superior solution vs. 608447-B21?

Or is it a wash? Any other reasons to go with USB vs. SD?

hi,

in my personal opinion it's only about

physical security and medium replacement.

1, physical security : SD CARD

SD card is inside the server instead of USB key

2, Replacement - USB key is more comfortable, because you don't need to go inside the server

its up to you what is the benefit for you.

USB key is inside the server too. Personally I would go with SD but no real reason for that.

Yeah, I am going to go with the SD. It is a little bigger and maybe the interface is faster (not sure).
