Update VMware ESXi 3.5 HP Embedded to 4.1 or 4.0

Hi Everybody,

I want to Update my VMware EXi 3.5 to 4.0 or 4.1.
When I open the Update Utility from VMWare, an message says that this Version of VMware is not supported. What can i do ?
How can i Upgrade ? Is there an special way for HP Embedded ESXi`s ?

you should check if your server model is supported and in HCL list.

It may be simpler to just rebuild the server as the updated version.
Installing and configuring ESXi is fairly simple.

Is it possible that you try to upgrade a VMware version to a HP version or vice versa?

I assume your vCenter and Update Manager is already the latest version 4.1?

Hello, your host update utility is old.
Best way is use vCenter with Update manager, but du you have it?
