      <description>&lt;P&gt;There is no interaction between the 2.&amp;nbsp; The interconnects are external to a Vmware environment... the "backend".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Distributed Switches are created within the VMware environment, using network interfaces from each server.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
