    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This has nothing to do with Simplivity as such but with the data inside the database... Most of the time (but like I said it depends of the data...) data in databases are not ideal (just like video's) for deduplication and/or compression...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is the same with 3PAR dedup and compression and all other storage platforms... It's all about the data...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kr,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bart&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is actually a simplivity question but I do not see a forum for simplivity.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was told by a simplivity technician that sql server databases do not compress on simplivity storage. Is this true?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
