How to manage HP MegaRaid remotely??

Hello,

Those servers, VMware ESXi 6.7 U2 HP image, is installed.

We have HPE DL380 Gen9 servers with P840 Raid controllers, and we are able to configure Raid volumes while servers are up and running, Even HP Smart Storage.

But once acquired DL380 Gen10 with P824i-p Raid controllers, we are no more able to configure Raid from SSA or even able to change Raid settings while servers are up.

I downloaded HPE MegaRAID Storage Administrator but it does not seem to allow changing those settings, neither locally nor remotely...

I would like to know, how i can get the same user experience with P840 and the DL380 Gen9 server?

Hi,

the documents in the links you provided, do not give information on the question, which was regarding managing the controller online on an ESXi installation. This is nowhere mentioned there. So the answer does not fit to the question.
