ESXi 7.0 U3 for HPE Proliant products - no documentation and no mention of the default pas

Hi there. Ive downloaded the latest ESXi custom image (7.0 U3) from here: https://www.hpe.com/us/en/servers/hpe-esxi.html. When I boot the image, It asks me for a default password but there is no documentation anywhere on that page stating what the default password might be. Ive tried trawling through forum posts that have suggested Passw0rd_, _Passw0rd_, Password, and <blank>, but none of these have worked. Does anyone have any idea what the default password might be?

Hi Brewer,

Can you send a screenshot or photo so I can locate where you found that form asking you to enter password.

If you just boot up the custom install image and begin the ESXi installation instead of using Intelligent Provisionning, you may ask for setting a root password for ESXi before you install ESXi.

On the other hand, if you're installing ESXi by Intelligent Provisioning, you'll ask for set up root password before the installation like the image below.
