I am a little confused as to what the recommended order of operations is for patching/updating firmware for an HPE Vsphere environment.

I am hoping someone here could clarify best practice as to what order to apply firmware (SPP)/ESXI(HPE Custom Image)/Vcenter updates.

Any help or documentation links would be appreciated. Currently running VCenter Server version 6.7.0.5, ESXI 6.7 of various builds.
