topic Access one disk from two virtual servers in Operating System - VMware

Hi,

We are using HP blade servers and Vmware EXS 3.5.2 running on them. What I want to do is accessing one disk form two virtual servers. I tried this adding one raw disk one server but when I try to add this disk to second server it says for the disk "locked" and doesn't let me add. Is there any way to do this?
thanks.

It's possible, but not as simple as what you tried. VMware has a document that describes the procedure somewhere on their web site. The guide is about setting up Microsoft Cluster, but creating a shared disk is really a VMware thing and should be the same no matter what you run on top of it.
