Hi all,

A client of mine has the following infrastructure:

3 nodes ESX cluster plus a vCenter, I've managed to successfully install DP/VMware integration in one of the ESX nodes and in the vCenter...having said that here're my questions:

- I don't see any kind of "vmware integration" stuff when I try to create a backup, only filesystem. Should I see something like Oracle Integration?
- I can't browse vmfs folder in the ESX server

I've been ITRCing and googleing about this issues but with no satisfactory answers.

thnx in advance

R.

Under the "backup specifications", do you have folder called VMware? I'm using 6.1 on my cell manager, and I have that option, similar to oracle integration backup. It wasn't there in 5.5, I'm not sure about 6.0. So yes, this is where I create the VM integration backup specs. Installing the disk agent and VM integration on the ESX host is correct.

Uwe, thnx for the reply...

...but, I've seen that document, and as a matter of fact, every doc that comes with DP 6.1, and none explains what is causing this particular issue...Installation was done from the c01768750.pdf...I've been reading also the Troubleshooting, and nothing yet....

R.
