I was able to install HP agents on an ESX 3.5 server running on a DL380 G3. From the HP System Management Page I can send an SNMP trap to an HIM server; I can also send trap test with this CLI:<BR />vicfg-snmp.pl --server <HOSTNAME> --username <USERNAME> --password <PASSWORD> --test. So SNMP is working. However I cannot find where to set notifications for hw failure. In a windows system I select Physical in Settings&gt;SNMP Webagent&gt;SNMP &amp; Agent Settings&gt;SNMP Agent Configuration as in the attached then I get alerts when a disk fails. In ESX where can I change the setting for this? Thanks.</PASSWORD></USERNAME></HOSTNAME>
