Hi gurus,
Can anybody please tell me how to make a external hdd available in a virtual machine which is running on ESX4.Pls help.its very very urgent.

Can you define "external HDD" ?

In some cases it is possible by using a "Raw Device Mapping" (=RDM).

it is different from storage.I directly connected the external harddisk to ESX server>now I want to make it available in both ESX server and the servers running on ESX ie virtual servers.
