Hi All,

We have 10 Server ESX-4U1 in prodution. we want to check the firmware version in those servers with reboot.

Some firmware info may be visible if you look at Software components under Hardware status tab when viewing a specific host with vSphere client. If that is not enough, you will have to be more specific.

Hello, best way in case you have HP server is check everything via HP System Management homepage - if you do not have it yet, it is very easy instalation under ESX...

But the most thorough way is to download the FW DVD and boot the host from that.
It will verify firmware on a number of devices, not all that are reported on via the management page.
You may want to look at HPSIM as ESXi becomes the only option you'll need to be able to view the detail from a wbem inquiry.
vCenter will show some. But this will enhance the view.

I have checked in SIM, the firmware version tab is empty.
