    <description>Some firmware info may be visible if you look at Software components under Hardware status tab when viewing a specific host with vSphere client. If that is not enough, you will have to be more specific.</description>

      <description>But the most thorough way is to download the FW DVD and boot the host from that.&lt;BR /&gt;It will verify firmware on a number of devices, not all that are reported on via the management page.&lt;BR /&gt;You may want to look at HPSIM as ESXi becomes the only option you'll need to be able to view the detail from a wbem inquiry.&lt;BR /&gt;vCenter will show some. But this will enhance the view.</description>
