    <description>I had a VM in an ESX3.0 server. By mistake I deleted the VM folder from service console. I have net backup and from that if I restore vmdk,vmx,vmswap files to its original location, will I get the server back to original state? Please guide me.</description>

      <description>Hi Suresh,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check the below url and refer the page no. 12&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.vmware.com/pdf/esx3_backup_wp.pdf" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.vmware.com/pdf/esx3_backup_wp.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this should help you to restore&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if issue is not resolved, berif how the backup was taken, was it through vcb or content backup of vm using netbackup agent in the vm&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Jagadish</description>
