I have managed to work it out, the guide is not very useful at all.

SET VDISK "name of vdisk" RESTORE SOURCE_VDISK="name of mirrorclone"

Steve

Does any one know if its possible to restore from a EVA MirrorClone using the SSSU command line.

The simular command on a XP would be
pairresync -c 15 -g Group -restore

If so any pointers as to what commands would be helpful.

Many Thanks
Steve

P.S. This thread has been moved from Disk Array to HP Storage System Scripting Utility (SSSU). - HP Forum Moderator

The SSSU manual says:

> SET VDISK virtual_disk_name

RESTORE

Restores data from the mirrorclone or snapshot to the source virtual disk. Data on the source virtual disk is overwritten even if the source virtual disk is write-protected. Only unpresented mirrorclones and snapshots are eligible for restoration. A mirrorclone cannot be restored if the mirrorclone source
is a DR group member.

Uwe,

Is virtual_disk_name the name for the original vdisk or the name of the Mirror Clone Vdisk

Cheers
Steve

Good to hear you got it working.

I agree there is a lot of room for improvement (examples!, examples!), but at least it gives _some_ help.
