Polyserve and MS Cluster software are incompatible. Polyserve is its own clustering software for a cluster file system and MS/SQL instance failover so it clusters SQL instances itself.

Can polyserve be installed in a virtual machine. Probably not since it needs a ILO interface (DRAC or IPMI) console or a FC switch for its fencing technology.

The cluster file system supports HyperV virtual machines as its repository.
