SSSU Problem

Hey, I need some help. I have a problem with login SSSU.
I have Win 2003 with Command View EVA 4.1.0.20 and SSSU for HP StorageWorks Command View EVA 4.00 [v4.0.18]. I login with
'Select Manager sma1-med username=administrator password=xxxxxx' and then 'Select SYSTEM EVA1-MED' then i have the following error.

Error: EMClientAPITNG error ->
EMCLIENTAPISOCKET_RESOLVESERVERNAME_ERROR : Cannot resolve the IP address the server name provided.

I get the same mistake if send the command:
'ls SYSTEM'

the nslookup with the Servername its OK.

did you try to use the servers ip adress?

Hi Joerg,

I always use the IP address, instead of server name, for such purpose.

Hi,
or define it either in DNS, but it's not sometimes so good, or local DNS solution (hosts file in Win)

Thanks for your help.
I has StorageWorks Command View EVA 4.1 installed and the ipaddress used. Now, the problem is fixed.
