It is still a Windows host. Have you tried stopping and restarting the "HP Command View EVA" service? I have seen behavior that made no sense clear up after bouncing the service. Or even rebooting the entire platform.

Hi Ols,
I don't know what OS you are running, however a friend of mine had a similar problem running sssu scripts from batch queues. The SSSU scripts needed to login to the SMA and started to give errors after upgrading to V6.x

He was able to resolve it by placing the login and SSSU commands into a file, say "Commands.Txt" containing;

select manager <IP address=""> User=<USERNAME> Password=<PASSWORD>
select cell <EVA name="">
:       :       :
<SSSU commands="">
:       :       :
exit

and then pass this to the EVA through SSSU with;

sssu "file Commands.Txt"

I don't know why this should work, but it did for him.

Dave</SSSU></EVA></PASSWORD></USERNAME></IP>

If you run SSSU from the Windows 2003 server, does the login succeed? If it does, then it's either a firewall or windows security policy.

Test it out and let us know.

-denver
