timezone query

Hi guys,

Wanted to change timezone on one of the hpux server. I have modified /etc/TIMEZONE file , now just wann to confirm how to set it, shall I have to reboot the server

Hi,

All you need to do is export the TZ exactly the same way as in the /etc/TIMEZONE file, which of course can be done on the command line. Note that all HPUX servers, get the time from GMT and the TZ variable is how the time is displayed to you.
