    <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;sometimes during the backup with "dump", I've an strange message like that:&lt;BR /&gt;DUMP: (This should not happen)bread from /dev/rac/cd00d0_74as0 [block 503248]: count=6144, got=-1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does someone explain me what does it means exactly?&lt;BR /&gt;In this case the backup involves a Jukebox with mo discs on a UX9 box, but I saw this errors also in backups of 10.20 boxes, all systems have hfs files sistems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;attached the entire log.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you&lt;BR /&gt;Romano&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Looks like the file system is not okay,&lt;BR /&gt;It could be like the inodes are misplaced.&lt;BR /&gt;just do a fsck on the file systems and try running the dump.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also check your /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file for any errors on the file system or the disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Revert</description>

      <description>Looks like a media read error... you may try to read those block manually for testing, e.g.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;dd if=/dev/rac/cd00d0_74as0 of=/dev/null bs=1k skip=503248 count=6&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe something's wrong with the medium or the drive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards...&lt;BR /&gt; Dietmar.</description>
