Hi!

How can I use chacl command?

# chacl "user_name.%=rwx" /manager

error..

chacl: file "/manager": Function is not
available (errno = 251)

Check the online manual for chacl on your system. (i.e. man chacl)

Your problem is due to the fact that JFS filesystems currently do not support ACL's.

If you absolutely must use ACL's then you will have to obtain JFS version 3.3 which is available for download for HP-UX 11.

And Their dependecies.
