HI

I have HPUX 11.00 with me but if i do make _recovery it says product not installed.
which CD will provide me the software? and is it free?

The make_recovery command is part of Ignite-UX, which is available free of charge on the HP Applications CD or at http://www.software.hp.com

Ignite is also available on your Application CD's. I think on CD 3 of 4.

If you don't find it on a CD, it's surely on the web, try hp's software site at:http://www.software.hp.com I beleive it's free, I'm not sure if a support contract is necessary.

The website listed above:
http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/index.html is the best and most reliable source for Ignite-UX. The application CD may not have the most uptodate version, but this site will.

I'd like to suggest you subscribe to the Ignite-UX newsletter, that way each time a new version comes out you'll be notified instantly.
