swlist -l fileset

Look for enware or netstation

Or

ll /opt/hpxt

Home dir for enware and enware2

If this is a Netstation
swlist | grep -i netstation
swlist | grep -i enware

ll /opt/hpxt

what is "Xterm software" ?

Software for X-terminals or /usr/bin/X11/xterm ?

NO files in /opt/hpxt...

and swlist gives me an error stating "# Contacting target "unix1"...
ERROR: The expected depot or root does not exist at "/".
ERROR: There is currently no installed software on host "unix1" at
location "/".

How can I get round this error message ??

Check your hostname in /etc/hosts and /etc/rc.config.d/netconf

run swlist interactively, ie no options.

It looks like it's not installed, are your terminals failing to download their directives??

Bill, Yes that right unable to connect..when I eventually get swlist and swinstall to work where can I find the xterm software..Thanks in advance.

if you go to the "workstations" section of the forums you'll find an ftp lik where you can download the software from.

Procura, the xterm is cool, but the xterm we're talking about is Hardware ;) (Nearly out of support HP Thin Clients)
