I posted a message yesterday about libnss_dns.1. Mrs Heren answered that we must apply patch PHCO_16039. But it seems that this patch was intended for HP-UX 11.x and we curently are trying to install Oracle 8.0.5.0.0 under HP-UX 10.20.B, so what's going wrong ? is Oracle 8.0.5.0.0 is istallable under HP-UX 10.20.X since it's asking for a library which is not available under HP-UX 10, or can i install a patch intended for HP-UX 11 on HP-UX 10 ?

My apologies Nassar, you are right. Ii have only seen this with 11.0. Are you using the CD for 10.20?

It's my turn to apology, we tried to install Oracle 8.0.5.0.0 for HP-UX 11 on a system running HP-UX 10.20.
