      <description>I have K Class  server with a DLT 8000.Recently reinstalled HP unix 10.x.The dlt drive connected to the inbuilt F/W SCSI Controller.I am unable to get it work.ioscan -fun output list the device but the S/W State being No_Hw &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can u interepret what it  means.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regs&lt;BR /&gt;Jayan</description>

      <description>you may have to add the stape driver to your kernel, post an ioscan, and your /stand/system file here</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;The tape driver (stape) is not by default added to the kernel when installing HP-UX. You have to add the driver and create a new kernel.</description>
