Have you checked the date on the log file with 'll'? Are you sure the file is getting written to? What is the path to the log file you are looking at?

Hi,

I checked the Ignite logs on one of our 11.0 boxes and it looks like the date/time stamp is correct. I think Patrick is right. Maybe the file is just old?

JP
HI RObert,
1. I would suggest to install latest version of Ignite-UX on your machine, before that please remove all old ignite-ux versions installed on your machine.
2. Check your system time, if it is correct.

Thanks,
-pap

Which log are you looking at? Normally the ignite logs the correct date on the log files. Do you have any problem with your system date?

Go to /var/opt/ignite/clients/hostname

look at the log files there.

We need to know what file you are looking at to help.

You should be able to compare tape contents to system to verify correct run.

Logfile should have a good date.

Try this:

/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -Av -x inc_entire=vg00 > /tmp/ignite.log

This will verify success.

SEP
