topic ipf binary? in Operating System - HP-UX

ipf binary?

Hallo,

I have a stupid question, but I really know and don't find any information about it.

What is a IPF Binary Depot and how can I install it on HPUX 10.20?
SWINSTALL don't recognize the software.

Hi Jan,

IPF = Itanium Processor Family
so not compatible with PA-RISC servers.

Well hte IPF I know of stands for Itanium Platform Family, and if htis is what your binary or software is meant for, it is not meant for HP-UX 10.20

Ok, thank you,
now I know why it wouldn't run on PA-Risc :-))
