Steps,

1. Find out whether G-30 supports 11.0 or not if [ $? -ne 0 ]
then
exit 127
fi
2. Install ignite server on one of the node and install G-30 from it

kaps

The G-30 will support 11.0 in 32 bit mode:

http://devrsrc1.external.hp.com/STK/serversupport.html

And yes, Ignite's make_net_recovery would be the way to accomplish this.

Pete
I've always prefered cloning from a make_tape_recovery tape. If you have a tape drive then go this way. Portable tape drives and CDROMs atttached to your G30 for example. Only catch with this is, you'll need another G-class server. Here is an URL listing supported classes and it seems to infer that you can clone from another (E,F,G,H or I) servers, but I doubt this:

http://devrsrc1.external.hp.com/STK/serversupport.html

Building a Ingite network installation server is a lot of work and you may not have a NIC card or some other network component that supports network installs. You'll have to investigate this. Here is an URL for building one though:

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90767/B2355-90767.html

Your G30 only supports a 30 bit version of HP-UX 11.00. Refer to the URL listed below:

http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3782-90807/B3782-90807_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3782-90807/00/00/10-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B3782-90807/00/00/10-toc.html&searchterms=supported%7cservers%7c11.00&queryid=20030303-050703
