There is a current sendmail bug that ISS X-Force has discovered which allows a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Sendmail Mail Transfer Agent (MTA). Users can gain root access. Does anyone know if HP is going to supply a patch for this problem? Sendmail versions from 5.79 to 8.12.7 are vulnerable.
