rpcd start problem

I am running hpux11.00 on C240 h/w. RPC is failing at boot up with ERROR CODE1 and when I look at the /opt/dcelocal/var/svc/error.log I have the following message,
dced ERROR dhd general main.c 1326 0x7afbe5a0 waitpid() return status 11 (for pid 1318), core dumped
Can anyone help please?

ring any bells ?

what patch level are you at wrt dce/rpcd ? I have a binary that may well resolve this, it may even had made it into the latest patch .... advise is if you have a support contract with HP use it ....
