When connected via LAN it is possible to run several processes before being loged out by the system(oftenly more than 30 mn).

My customer has migrated from IBM S36 to HP9000/E25 and he uses unibol as interface to access the database.

When a session is open via a terminal like HP700/60 has gets no problem to work in the database. but when he uses a PC to connect to the system via the LAN using a terminal emulator(tunemul), the system lets he work for a moment and after he is automatically logedout with the following error messages:
"la machine hote a ferme la session"
"erreur 10065"
that means "the host has closed the session"
"error 10065"

How can I solve this problem please?

Hi, Error 10065 is in general a winsock error: No route to host.
But are you sure that the customer can work for a moment? How long is this moment? A second or a few minutes?
The language problem? Just kidding. Are the telnet'ing into the system with the "tunemul" terminal emulator? does it happen when they login and just sit there or does it occur when they press function or numeric keypad.

You either have a problem with your emulator, your network, or network cards.

live free or die
harry
