Hi Henry,

lsof will be installed at /usr/contrib/bin by default, after the installation, you can either add that directory to your PATH, or create a link at /usr/bin/lsof, pointing to /usr/contrib/bin/lsof.

thanks,
Gary

The installation depend on the file type which you downloaded. Normally you can uzip it (gunzip file_name) and use swinstall. Sometimes if it's in tar format, then first unzip it and then use tar command to get installable files (tar -xvf file_name).

A lot of discussions of the same type here:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x1ece7680e012d71190050090279cd0f9,00.html

http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x974235a43b46d71190080090279cd0f9,00.html
