    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can do it easily with the 'date' command, but you'll need to be careful.  You'll want to stop any applications that might be running [databases, etc.], and also take a look at any scheduled jobs such as cron jobs.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'd suggest using Ignite to take a system backup before doing it, just in case something gets hosed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you changing the date back one day and then back to the current day for a test, or is the date just a day off?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;JP&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Use&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;date [-a [-]sss[.fff]]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;                Slowly adjust the time by sss.fff seconds (fff represents&lt;BR /&gt;                fractions of a second).  This adjustment can be positive or&lt;BR /&gt;                negative.  The system's clock will be sped up or slowed down&lt;BR /&gt;                until it has drifted by the number of seconds specified.</description>
