      <description>Hi, previous after a server crash, i had vg03 &amp;amp; vg04 was not recognized by my server while the rest can recognized.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;previous /etc/lvmtab&lt;BR /&gt;strings lvmtab&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg00&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c1t6d0&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c2t6d0&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg02&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c7t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg03&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c7t0d1&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d1&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg05&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c7t0d2&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d2&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/vg04&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c7t0d6&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c12t0d6&lt;BR /&gt;Please advise.</description>

      <description>Hi:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ioscan -fnC disk&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...show the physical devices "CLAIMED"?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If so, were the volume groups activated?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# vgchange -a y vgNN&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you get errors when mounting the associated filesystems?  If so, do:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# fsck -F vxfs -y -o full /dev/vgNN/rlvolN&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;...JRF...</description>

      <description>Verify the disks or PV's of what use to be vg03 with this command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgcfgrestore -f /etc/lvmconf/vg03.map -l&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Verify the directory and group file /dev/vg03 and /dev/vg03/group.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Retrieve vg03 this way:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgexport -p -v -s -m /tmp/mapfile /dev/vg03 (* -p preview *)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vi /tmp/mapfile&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cross reference the contents of /tmp/mapfile with the report from vgcfgrestore, if ok them proceed:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgexport -v -s -m /tmp/mapfile /dev/vg03 (* will delete /dev/vg03 and /dev/vg03/group *)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mkdir /dev/vg03 &lt;BR /&gt;mknod /dev/vg03/group c 64 0x0000&lt;BR /&gt;vgimport -p -v -s -m /tmp/mapfile /dev/vg03 (* -p preview *)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When ready:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vgimport -v -s -m /tmp/mapfile /dev/vg03&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note:  If other problems then please paste in the errors.</description>
