printer configuration

Thank you all your reply's. The printer in question is a hp4050. It is configured as a remote printer with text. There is an Intel printer port attached but only setup on lpt1.
It pings the correct IP with no packet loss. I'm not sure how to look up for verification for nslookup. I can check if you let me know how to check that.
I will download the sam patch you listed and see if that helps any issues. I may just try deleting it and starting too with this one.
