      <description>I can do an ioscan -kfC and get the number of processors installed but how do I get more specefic information like speed, and cache?  Also, while we are at it, how can i do the same for memory?  I want to get the size of installed RAM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.</description>

      <description>Yeah the SAM approach worked but I want to redirect the out put to a text file, so it's not exactly the solution I'm looking for, and cstm didn't work at all.</description>
