I honestly have been searching the ITRC for the location of the samba/cifs admin guide, but I can not find it. Can I get some help on a location?

I believe you did search. Searching is tricky sometimes.

When trying to locate info, I use these:
For doc - http://www.docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/otsearch/hpsearch
Use keywords in this format +cifs +samba to filter your searches.

For sw - http://www.software.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/displaySearch.pl

And when all else fails - http://search.hp.com/
