Hi guy's,
I have problem that am60svrs process cannot be up.I also notice a critical EMS message in my syslog.log as below :

and in the /etc/hparray there are error like below :

Wed Apr 23 08:47:11 2003
No disk array devices were detected.
To disable starting the disk array daemons
set HPARAMGR_START_STOP=0 in /etc/rc.config.d/hparamgr

question 1: can I start the hparamgr manually ,is this cause problem and where are the log file.
question 2: any clues for the above error.

Typically you would see these processes related to hparamgr and hparray.
o arraymond
o ARMServer
o AM60Srvr
o hparamgrd
Try to restart it manually and see if it gives any error.
# /sbin/init.d/hparamgr stop
# /sbin/init.d/hparamgr start
As for the log file it should be in /var/opt/hparray/log. If I'm not mistaken it's "am.log".

Additional info .. with regards to am60 cumulative patch. If you take a look at the latest patch (for 11.0) :-
PHCO_28166 (s700_800 11.X HP Array Manager/60 cumulative patch)
it solves some problem with am60, among others..
- AM60Srvr will not start up, must delete the AM logs first.
- AM60Srvr dies intermittently.
It may be worth checking this (depending on your OS version).

Where can I find a document/link to know more on FC60 and all it's utility amdsp etc.
