    <description>You probably need to rmsf the guy and then insf -e it re-creating it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'd first look for an error in /etc/intittab.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Good luck.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Call me anything you want, but don't forget to call me to dinner.&lt;BR /&gt;Steven E.       <title>Finger command issues</title>

      <description>when running the finger command on an 11.11 system, I get the error "error STATing /dev/ttyp0.  When I looked, there was a user logged on with ttyp0 as their terminal device but the /dev/ttyp0 special file was missing.  How would I properly recreate /dev/ttyp0 and all the slave files associated with it?</description>
