I have a problem on boot , and like mount disk
but on boot
dont locate vmunix

Follow this process

Hit any key when the following message appears:
Booting from primary path, press any key to override
At the menu, type:

boot pri isl

And answer "y" to

Interact with ISL ?
Answer "y" to

boot from primary path ?

And Answer "y" to:

Interact with IPL ?At the ISL prompt type:

hpux (;0)/ALTKERNEL

where ALTKERNEL is the kernel name that you want to boot. The standard backup kernel name is /stand/vmunix.prev

Once is system is back on single user
type "mountall" command to mount the file systems
-USA..

See if there are any boot devices.

If so,

bo

Y(es) interact with the ipl

hpux /stand/vmunix.prev

This boots off the previous kernel, won't help if the boot disk is dead.

or

hpux -is for single user mode.

or

hpux -lm for lvm mode

Boot a recovery shell off the CORE-OS cd if none of this works.

Then you can poke around and see what went wrong.

Never hurts to stick your nose in the box and look at the cabling and such.

If you can't boot off either the /stand/vmunix or /stand/vmunix.prev kernels you should be able to boot a recovery shell off your CoreOS CD. Once you have done this, you can at least what is going on.
