Does anyone know if BAAN is certified on the Itanium chip yet also is it possible to run HPUX and Windows on the rx2600 server through partitioning of any sort

Just want to clarify one thing I know it says you can boot multiple O/S's does that mean HPUX and Windows can be running at the same time??

Hi,

AFAIK only PA-RISC systems can do v-PARS at this time.
But even then it takes at least an RP5470 to do that.
And n-PARS aren't available until RP7410.

So, since an RX2600 would be analogous to an RP24xx, I'd say your chances are somewhere between slim & none.

In this case I'm afraid you're locked into one OS per system.
