      <description>Have you try ..&lt;BR /&gt;$ mt -f &lt;HOSTNAME&gt;:&lt;TAPEDRIVE&gt; rew&lt;BR /&gt;It may work, just like the GNU version of mt command. Do a man on mt to see if "-f" is supported.&lt;/TAPEDRIVE&gt;&lt;/HOSTNAME&gt;</description>

      <description>There is no way to do directly with the mt command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have ssh installed and configured you can do the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ssh remote_host "mt -t /dev/rmt/0mn offl"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you don't have ssh and don't allow the r* commands, you are pretty much out of luck.</description>
