      <title>Install Network Printer</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I had no success when trying to install a printer. I installed JetDirect in my HP-UX 10.20 but when I tried to print a document from CDE Text Editor. The job goes to Print Manager but the printer do not output the document.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;Mauro</description>

I tried cat /etc/hosts | lp -dPaintJet and received "request id is PaintJet-4353 (standard input)" but the document did not appears in the printer.       <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The printer was disable, so I enable it to print and I can see the jobs (four). The status of teh printer is enable and busy, but again no document is printed by the printer and the jobs remain in the printer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt;Mauro</description>

      <description>Okay,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1.  Cancel all jobs&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2.  Stop the scheduler.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3.  in /var/spool/lp, check for the existence of SCHEDLOCK or FIFO.  If they exist, remove them.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4.  Restart the scheduler.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sounds like something is a bit "out of sync".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;RZ&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
