    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;It will not work on HPPB cards.&lt;BR /&gt;If you have HSC scsi card, then connect it or you can conncet it on core i/o card.&lt;BR /&gt;but the performance will be slower.</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I just buy the SureStore DLT80e for the Kclass with HPUX10.20&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Since the DLT80e supprt LVD/SE, so i connect it to the 28655A HP-PB SCSI adapter.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ext_bus     1  10/4/8       scsi1       CLAIMED   INTERFACE HP 28655A - SE SCSI ID=7&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The system auto detect the driver and the ioscan -fnC tape:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;tape      1  10/4/8.1.0   tape2       CLAIMED   DEVICE    QUANTUM DLT8000&lt;BR /&gt;                         /dev/diag/rmt/c1t1d0   /dev/rmt/c1t1d0BEST&lt;BR /&gt;                         /dev/rmt/1m            /dev/rmt/c1t1d0BESTb&lt;BR /&gt;                         /dev/rmt/1mb           /dev/rmt/c1t1d0BESTn&lt;BR /&gt;                         /dev/rmt/1mn           /dev/rmt/c1t1d0BESTnb&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However i can't use the drive..&lt;BR /&gt;# mt -t /dev/rmt/1mn status&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/rmt/1mn: I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;# mt -t /dev/rmt/1mn rew&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/rmt/1mn: I/O error&lt;BR /&gt;# tar cvf /dev/rmt/1mn /etc&lt;BR /&gt;tar: cannot open /dev/rmt/1mn&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Michael, I have install the latest patch&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PHKL_22855            B.10.00.00.AA  stape and tape2 cumulative patch&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And i have load different type tape, the problem are still remain.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Animesh, I heard people say HPPB not support DLT. But the the DLT80e only support LVD/SE. The kclass server have&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ext_bus     0  10/0         c720        CLAIMED   INTERFACE GSC built-in Fast/Wide SCSI Interface&lt;BR /&gt;ext_bus     1  10/4/8       scsi1       CLAIMED   INTERFACE HP 28655A - SE SCSI ID=7&lt;BR /&gt;ext_bus     2  10/4/12      scsi3       CLAIMED   INTERFACE HP 28696A - Wide SCSI ID=7&lt;BR /&gt;ext_bus     3  10/8         c720        CLAIMED   INTERFACE GSC add-on Fast/Wide SCSI Interface&lt;BR /&gt;ext_bus     4  10/12/5      c720        CLAIMED   INTERFACE Built-in SCSI&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have try to connect the DLT80e to those interface, but the server can't scan the device.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
