    <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Unless you have newer RP* series systems and have iCOD (instant Capacity on Demand) software, it is not possible to disable/enable processors online.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will need to go to BCH prompt and then do it. THe commands may vary depending upon the hardware you have.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Sri</description>

      <description>Hi Monique,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Nope, sorry, unlike Sun which can disable/enable CPUs on th fly, this can only be done on HPs at boot time from the BCH prompt.&lt;BR /&gt;You issue a CPU X off/on command where X=cpu#&lt;BR /&gt;So disable takes a boot as well as enable.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>
