when i install the patch PHNE_28567,it's note :"Could not apply the software selection "PHNE_28567,R=1.0,a=HP-UX_B.11.00_32/64,v=HP"because a diffeent variant of this same product has already been selected"

i don't know how to solve it ?

If I understood your problem correctly,
You are trying to install a set of patches and the patch you marked is already part of another patch bundle.
You can safely ignore this message.

You don't want to ignore this error and continue the installation. This is saying basically that you do not have the version of the product that this patch needs. You CAN'T ignore this and force the patch to install. If you did that there is a very good possibility that you would break whatever product this patch if for.

Notes on the patch.

Patch Description: s700_800 11.00 ONC/NFS General Release/Performance Patch

Symptoms:
PHNE_28567:
nfsstat
SR: 8606308270
DTS: JAGae71305
The "nfsstat -m" command does not display NFS PV3
information.

run the command in question. My bet is that the nfsstat command works just fine and you don't need the patch.

Forcing the installation could lead to your system becoming a paperweight.

It would seem that you have perhaps HP-UX 11.11 installed? Or perhaps some other patch also fixes this problem.

Don't install it and contact support if they told you to install it.

swverify \*

You might find this patch is already installed. Some patches do not take kindly to being installed twice.

Thanks all very much. I have downloaded the patch for hpux 11.11,and installed it. This patch solve my problem about ovo 's opcmsgrd abort.
