What's the mean of the remote mode in console? What's the difference (*) or no (*) are show in remote mode?

Hello,

With Remote Mode (*) ON every character pressed on the keyboard is transmited to the host, so if is OFF the host doesn't recives anything from the terminal.

Hi,

Remote Mode
Press the REMOTE MODE function key to activate remote mode, allowing your terminal to communicate
with your host computer. When Remote mode is activated, an asterisk appears in the label for example,
Remote Mode*.

Hi,

If the remote mode is off( no *), terminal wouldn't receive anything from host, to activate the terminal(remote mode) you need to press F4
