I have checked all these things and nothing seems to be amiss. I ma thinking that perhaps there is insuffecient memory in the printer............Any thought on that?

We have a month end process that generates an 800mb PDF file for printing from Oracle. We can not get this print. I am in need of direction on where to look for this solution.

Start by checking the size of your spool area, normally /var/spool/lp (/var/ file system).

Try opening the PDF file on your workstation or PC using acrobat reader and verify that it is not corrupted.

Check /var/adm/lp/log for error messages from the model interface.

If you're using the laserjet scripts from HP JetDirect, then try adding the debug flags to your print job (-o debugm -o hpnpflog). These write log files into /tmp.

Verify that smaller print jobs are working properly, especially small pdf files.
