    <description>When I try to install a software from my local CDROM, the SWINSTALL can run, but after appearing "Select Target Path(hostname)" menu, I choosed the default root path as " /" then "OK", then the following error message appears:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"hostname:/" Failed to initialize this agent. Make sure the agent program exists on the host and can be executed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Could someone help?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;do:&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/swagentd stop&lt;BR /&gt;then look with: ps -ef | grep swagent&lt;BR /&gt;if there are any processes listed an if so kill them (kill -9 ...)&lt;BR /&gt;Then restart with:&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/swagentd start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope that helps&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards</description>

      <description>Make sure the demon swagentd is running on the system&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ps -ef | grep swagent&lt;BR /&gt;root  8313     1  0  Oct  4  ?        21:09 /usr/sbin/swagentd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can start this from /sbin/init.d by&lt;BR /&gt;swagentd start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cheers&lt;BR /&gt;Vinit</description>
